A reseller account is a way you can be paid for hosting without a dedicated server.

You customize them from the suppliers website.

Dedicated server is your rented machine that you can configure and manage yourself.

Reseller hosting is mainly for those who have little time or expertise for the technical stuff. They get reseller hosting and via control panel they manage their clients with click of a button.

You can check http://www.hostbreak.com which is my favorite provider.
